Preventative Maintenance
Preventative maintenance is the
cornerstone to maintaining the
integrity of a new roof as well as
extending the life of an existing
one.
Manufacturers require that you do
yearly maintenance in order to keep
your warranty valid. Without it you
are venerable to damaged being done
to your roof from areas that are not
covered by the manufacturers’
warranty. With yearly inspections
your can help prevent small problems
from becoming irreversible ones that
could require a new roof that is not
covered by your current warranty.
Sometimes you may be told that you
need a new roof when in fact it can
be saved. Our trained sales staff
will do a visual inspection and give
you an educated assessment of the
condition of your roof at no cost to
you.
The next step is to have a moisture
survey performed to insure that the
roof is dry. South Florida Building
Code states that a roof can be
repaired if 25% or less of the
entire roof area is wet. Once the
survey is performed Pritts Inc. will
give you a written scope of work
with several options to meet your
needs and budget.
